What is electric car ?
It is a vehicle with electric pwoer, electric control system and electric propulsion. Don't need any gasoline and no polution.

ReplyDeleteThe "battery not included" idea is genius for several reasons in my opinion.
ReplyDelete• It forces current battery producers to revisit battery distribution and design.
• It will also force auto makers to change car designs. Smart cars are starting to be more common. Europe is very much ahead of the game on small cars and effective emission control by force of nature. We've been slack because we've not felt pushed enough.
• The “car wash” style battery swap is a neat idea too!
• The network concept eliminates the "can I get a boost please" situation. Still today, not everyone carries cables, as silly as that sounds.
• We could even recycle current gas stations for his battery recharging network.
Of particular interest to me is the very smart approach taken. No more waiting for the magic battery or magic technology. In essence, no more excuses for trashing our planet. I hope we can keep politics out of this one. Way to go for pushing to recycle ideas from around the globe and employ common sense economics.
I admire this entrepreneur for his courage to "attack" an industry that has had a gigantic monopoly. Let us put the Arab oil to rest. Perhaps with less leverage, they'll be nicer to "play" with. *grin*
